This is coming about a week and a half late, but oh well. Kylie is 4 months old! It's still so hard to believe that not long ago she was still in my belly and tiny as can be. A lot has changed! Kylie is over 14 pounds and seems to be getting longer by the second. She's about 25 inches long now!
She has rolled over only twice, but we'll get there. Poor thing is dealing with early teething, so pretty much every other developmental milestone has been put on hold. The waterworks are definitely in effect. There is not a moment that the drool is not pouring out of her mouth. She has been biting and man she can bite hard. Yesterday she bit my shoulder. Luckily the teeth aren't in yet, so it's just gums biting, but still it has to hurt pretty bad for her to be biting as hard as she is now. Her fingers turn bright red because she bites them so much. Hopefully soon, I think by Christmas, we'll have a tooth or two. Here's a picture of her biting her gums together creating an adorable pucker face.
Kylie loves her toys. It's like she knows which ones are animals or something. She always talks to Mr. Duck and Mr. Lion. So cute. We have just recently tried the exersaucer. She seemed to be getting a little bored with most of her toys, so this is something brand new! She really likes it until she gets tired. Next time I'll put a couple of towels around her to help her a little. I think she likes that she can see around the room better while she can still play with toys. I think she likes that she is "standing" too.
Such a cutie when she wants to be. ;) Here's to the next month full of teething, hopefully rolling all over the house, and eating rice cereal!!
