We planned a trip to the Dallas World Aquarium, played Imaginiff, and ate pizza on Saturday!
Kylie loved seeing everything and did not want to leave. It didn’t help that she completely missed her nap, but was fine once we all crammed into our car. We used our third row seat for the first time, so mom, dad, and Sarah could fit!
Sunday was Emily’s Dedication at our church. The morning was super busy with cleaning the house and getting lunch food ready. I would not have been able to get everything ready if it weren’t for my family! Dad vacuumed, mom made the taco meat, Casey did all kinds of things, including dealing with a rather unhappy Kylie, Sarah, Andrew and Chelsie cleaned up air mattresses among other random things. We made it on time instead of early, but it was perfectly fine.
It was nice to be able to sit together and have Kylie with us for the beginning of service. Emily slept and Kylie started getting antsy right before we went up. She started pointing to our eyes, fingers, thumbs, etc. naming whatever she could and thought putting my thumb to Casey’s thumb was hilarious. My family, Casey’s Dad, Mom, Phillip, and Alex, and also Memaw and Papaw were there. Our friends the Moore’s came into town (even though we didn’t really have time to see them all weekend
Honestly I don’t remember everything that was said up on the stage because Emily was licking my shoulder (and I was afraid she would projectile vomit everywhere like she was all morning..), the next baby over was spitting up all over the dad, and the lights were like heat lamps! But I do remember why were were up there. We were dedicating Emily to the Lord and it is such a great reminder of how we have this precious little gift in our hands. I just pray that we do the right things in raising our girls and continue to show/try to show God’s love to our children. Pastor Ben was right when he said we can’t make our little ones do anything, but we can show them our love for God and teach them as best as we can in hopes that they trust in the Lord someday.
Our family came over to our house afterwards for some tacos, taco salad, or whatever taco creation they decided to make. It was pretty yummy and was so nice to see everyone. I didn’t do a great job at taking pictures. My hands are a little more full with two littles, but with the random cameras, I managed to get a few pictures to remember the day by.
This was my first time trying the album way to show pictures on the blog. I’m interested to see how it turns out!

I'm so sad we didn't get to hang out with y'all this weekend! At least we have guaranteed built-in girl time the next time we're in town!
