Friday night (the 17th) Kylie cut her first tooth. Daddy was hunting, so he didn't get to experience the wrath of an already low tolerance to pain of a 5 1/2 month old's tooth cutting through her little gums. Let's just say that Mommy pulled an all nighter! Well really it took a couple of nights for her to calm down enough to sleep on her own. She finally put herself to sleep on Monday night. It was bliss once she fell asleep! She ended up sleeping until about 7 Tuesday morning. She's been doing better since, except for a cold that she picked up.
Her little tooth still doesn't look like a real tooth. Apparently that takes awhile to happen. It seems as though we're working on the second bottom tooth. She has started biting things on the other side of her mouth. We're hoping that she is used to the pain and doesn't go bizerk like the first tooth. Ya right..... not Kylie! She does not like to be uncomfortable. Haha!
I guess we're supposed to start brushing it or something... Can't wait for her next doctor's appointment. We have SO many questions!
Oh and there is no possibility of getting a picture of her little pearly white tooth. She barely lets you feel it. Her tongue somehow has become super strong and she'll push anything away that goes anywhere near her gums. Honestly the best view is when she's crying. I must admit, I have let her cry a little longer just so I could get a little look-see. ;)
Here's a little picture just because.
