So the biggest thing about Kylie being 5 months old now is that she is SLEEPING! This may just be a phase like many others she has gone through, but it is so nice to put her to bed and have her put herself to sleep and back to sleep when she wakes up (which is always numerous times throughout the night with all babies and even adults!). The past few nights we would just look at each other and realize that we hadn't had this time for 5 whole months! She goes to bed somewhere between 7:30 and 8, so it has been nice to fall asleep on the couch or finish folding laundry, etc without having to worry about waking her up or having to soothe her back to sleep.
Some other 5 month old things that are going on: she is rolling around more and more each day, we're practicing sitting up on our own (she still falls forward), she is eating rice cereal every night (we're about to start twice a day and then try out some baby green beans!), she loves taking a bath (I would leave her in there forever if I could. She kicks bathwater out of the tub like I've never seen before! :) ), and like her older friend Colton, she likes to just be in her diaper for play time.
I'm sure there are plenty of other things I could add to this post, but I think that's a pretty good look at my newly turned 5 month old. Here are a few pictures from the past couple of days!

The next group of pictures are from my little 5 month photo shoot with Kylie. It's called "Little Red Riding Hood!"
Sometimes I pretend that I'm a professional photographer. :) I wish... but I do have a pretty good subject. She is pretty photogenic!
