Six Christmases

So Kylie has a BIG family.

Let's start with our friends family. The Camerons and the Moores. The weekend before Christmas we got together with our friends and their kids for our Christmas. This was Kylie's first Christmas. We had Wing Stop and brownies. The boys put together Chris' new TV and mounted it on the wall while us girls played with the kids. We exchanged kid gifts and loved watching them open their presents in awe. Kylie and Olivia didn't totally understand what was going on, but they did help "open" their presents. Kylie got some toys and an adorable blue paisley shirt that she has already worn. :)

Kylie joined us for her first Christmas Eve service. She was lulled to sleep by the Christmas carols and slept through the candle lighting part, but overall had a great Christmas Eve. After the service, the Cameron's baby girl decided to come early and have a Christmas Eve birthday! Audrey Rose was born at 6 pounds 12 ounces and is as cute as can be. Kylie and Casey came down with a cold, so only I was able to hold her.

It's hard to believe that Kylie was almost this little only 6 months ago.

Our first Christmas together was Christmas morning, Kylie's 2ndish Christmas. I was up in anticipation of starting the day, but Kylie was content on sleeping in. I ended up gently waking her, so that we could get our day started and have time for a morning nap before going to see family. She had her stocking, a couple of gifts from us, a gift from the Clarks, and some gifts from the Gerardis to open that morning. She loved her move and crawl ball!

Stocking gifts! She pulled them out of the stocking.. with a little help from Daddy!

The ball moves on its own!!

Kylie's next Christmas was lunch at Memaw and Papaw's. This is Casey's mom's family. She was finally in a good mood! She went to lots of people and laughed and smiled a lot. Every other time they have seen her, she wasn't in a good mood. So glad. She got some much needed pajamas and a some more clothes and some cute toys. She loves listening to her Glow Seahorse (a new version of the glow worm..)

Kylie's 4th Christmas was dinner at Grandaddy and Gigi's house. This is Casey's Dad's side. Once again, she was in a great mood. We changed her into the dressy outfit that Gigi got her and she had a blast helping open gifts. She got some neat toys and I especially love the ornament shoes with her birthday and name on them.

Kylie's 5th Christmas was down in Austin with my side of the family. After Christmas dinner, Kylie put on her pj's and slept her way down to Austin.. pretty much how we planned it. She did great. We woke up the next morning, mommy and daddy quite exhausted, and opened gifts and stockings with the Kramer family. Mommy got a new jogging/all-terrain 3 wheeled stroller. Kylie got some fun toys and a lot of super cute outfits including an entire giraffe outfit, head to toe!

Uncle Andrew and Chelsie just HAD to get this for her... lol.
Kylie's 6th and final Christmas was dinner with the Kramer side extended family, the Hymans. Kylie enjoyed trying to grab at the dinner plates while mommy and daddy were eating. She took a nap after dinner and almost didn't wake up to open presents! Everyone waited a little bit, since she kind of was the star of the show ;), and she was able to open them in front of everyone. Her favorite toy is the sit to stand toy. As soon as the paper was ripped off, she was going after it like crazy!

Ready to open her presents!

Kylie was totally entertained by the dogs. She mostly loved Stella and grabbed at her ears and eyebrows.
Gettin' some love....

So you can tell how exhausting this was just by reading this super long post!! It needed to be done and now I have accomplished it!! I hope you enjoyed seeing what Kylie's first Christmas was all about and I hope your Christmas or Christmas' were as fun and blessed as ours were.
